Kids go on a treasure hunt in order to save their home. Sound familiar? Netflix's upcoming movie, FINDING 'OHANA follows a familiar plot to 80s favorite THE GOONIES except with a Hawaiian cast. The new trailer recalls the iconic film.
A single mom (Ke Huy Quan) and her two teens move to the Hawaiian island of O'ahu to live with their grandfather who's about to lose his home. The teens reconnect with their Hawaiian heritage and discover a long-lost treasure that could help their grandpa.

Synopsis
A summer in rural O‘ahu takes an exciting turn for two Brooklyn-raised siblings when a journal pointing to long-lost treasure sets them on an epic adventure with new friends, and leads them to reconnect with their Hawaiian heritage.
