Universal Pictures gives us the first look at the sixth film in the Fast & Furious franchise during Super Bowl Sunday.  And it packed a wallop in a :60 second spot.

>fast-furious-6-poster-imageSimply called Fast & Furious 6, the crew is reunited but this time Dom and Brian are not running from the law but helping the Feds and Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs in catching skilled mercenary drivers which includes the resurrected Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) who was presumed dead in Fast & Furious (2009).  The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again. The rest of the crew is back with Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and Elsa Pataky also returning from the last movie, Fast Five.   New to the Fast & Furious clan is Luke Evans as the leader of the dangerous mercenaries and Gina Carano as an agent.

The new movie poster features a car and Dom with the tagline, "All Roads Lead To This."  The one-sheet may be simple, but the sixty second spot shown during Super Bowl Sunday had the action that made the franchise so popular with crazy car stunts and fast automobiles.
