Eugenio Derbez and Eva Longoria star together for the second time but they've haven't shared much screen time in both the remake of OVERBOARD and their latest, DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD. CineMovie's Valentina Patruno sat down with the actors in Miami who tell us they'd like to star together in a movie and perhaps fight each other.
DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD hits theaters August 9. DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD features star-studded Latino cast with Isabela Moner playing an older version of the iconic cartoon character with Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, Adriana Barraza, and Danny Trejo as the voice of Boots.
The Nickelodeon animated series gets a live-action update, and we hope it's a big success so that they make more movies with Latinos. CineMovie's Valentina Patruno sat down with Derbez, Longoria, Moner and Jeff Wahlberg who plays Diego to talk about the movie and the significance for Latinos.
Official Synopsis:
Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeff Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.
