Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS movie is the best biopic about the King. Luhrmann’s story recognizes Elvis Presley’s musical influences from the Black community and his interaction with the segregated group. Austin Butler captures the charisma of Elvis and those expressive eyes. Tom Hanks gets the job done as the despicable and manipulative manager.

Kripke, the creator behind Supernatural, was catching up with Jensen during a call when Kripke told him he was having trouble finding an older actor to play the leader of the superhero group Payback from the comic book. He then thought to ask Jensen whether he was interested, and the Supernatural actor said yes but he had to convince the other producers and Amazon executive to hire him.

A new superhero has entered the MCU fray with Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) making her Disney+ debut as Ms. Marvel. As the first Muslim American superhero in the Marvel Universe, you’d expect a more generic version of the character or to be blunt a whitewashing of the cultural implications, but the cast and producers reveal they faced no resistance from Marvel to show an accurate portrayal of the Muslim and South East Asian community.
