Mexican director Alejandro Gonzales Iñarritu's Birdman leads with seven nominations, followed by Richard Linklater's Boyhood and Imitation Game with five each. On television, HBO leads with 15 nominations. Newcomer Gina Rodriguez earned her first nomination as Jane the Virgin with the show also earning a nomination for the CW show.
