New 'Joker 2' Images: Director Todd Phillips Shares First Look Images on Christmas Day

JOKER: FOLIE à DEUX director Todd Phillips shared two new images from the JOKER sequel coming to movie theaters in October 2024. One image features Lady Gaga's Dr. Quinn looking lovingly at her future partner in crime while another has a peek of Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck behind an asylum cell window.
When Arthur met Harley is the plot behind the sequel which is reportedly a musical. Phillips shared the images with a holiday greeting on Christmas Day on Instagram.
In one of the new images, Harley is looking lovingly at Arthur in his full-clown regalia. The iconic love story will no doubt explore how a trained professional could fall in love with a psychopath locked up in the Arkham Asylum for the mentally insane.
Zazie Beetz returns as Arthur's neighbor Sophie, and Catherine Keener and Brendan Gleeson join the cast.
