Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) team up to fight a villain named Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton) who seems to be related to Ronan the Conqueror in THE MARVELS trailer. The new preview reveals how the three Marvels come together, and why Dar-Benn seeks to destroy Carol Danvers.
The superhero ladies become entangled through each other's power when a tyrannical Kree named Dar-Benn vows revenge on Carol for taking something away from the evil being. In the trailer, she possesses powers similar to Ronan the Conqueror and wields his war hammer. Given that Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel is part of the team must mean that the movie takes place after the Avenger movies, and Ronan is dead at the hands of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Is Dar-Benn seeking vengeance for the Kree or Ronan or both?
These Avengers must team up to save the universe in THE MARVELS which opens on November 10, 2023.
