In the new trailer for BIRDS OF PREY: THE EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN, meet Harley Quinn's (Margot Robbie) crime fighting sisters, Black Canary, Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), and Cassandra Cain. They're all up against Ewan McGregor's Black Mask, and it's about time someone put his sinister smile to good use.

The new preview proves the ladies are in charge with Robbie's Quinn also being eMANcipated from those butt-riding underwear she wore in SUICIDE SQUAD. Her wardrobe is a lot more street-conscious and comfortable to wear in a fight. She is no longer "Daddy's Lil Monster" as she has taken control of her life and her wardrobe. Props to that.

And let's talk about the action. The stunts look pretty impressive and realistic to how a woman would fight in contrast to the man. It's graceful and like a dance number.

The trailer ends with a good laugh and a very realistic-looking hyena named Bruce who Harley says she named after Bruce Wayne. Now that's a hoot.

We haven't seen a movie capture the spirit and craziness of a comic book style story like what we see in this BIRDS OF PREY preview. Let's hope it's what we'll get when we sit down to watch the movie, and hope we don't get faked out like what Warner Bros. did with SUICIDE SQUAD.

BIRDS OF PREY opens February 7.

Official Description

You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? “Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down
