Actress Alisa Reyes Teases A LaCienega Boulevardez Musical in 'The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder' Season 2

Actress, singer and philanthropist Alisa Reyes reprised her role as LaCienega Boulevardez in The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder on Disney+ two decades after the original series. Reyes returns with Penny Proud in the second season and she hints LaCinenega may be belting out the tunes once again which is the perfect mesh of her two talents.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder season two of the Disney+ Original series is now streaming all-new episodes.
Reyes began her professional career as an actress at the age of seven and is best known for her regular series role on "All That," which she recently reprised in the series reboot. She also starred in "One World," playing a Cuban-born entrepreneur, and received a YoungStar Award for her performance. Her additional credits include "Break Even," "Without a Trace," "Strong Medicine," "Passions," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "NYPD Blue," "ER," "Boston Public," "Six Feet Under" and "American Family." In 2020, she, alongside Scott Barber and Bill Parks, produced "The Orange Years: The Nickelodeon Story."
In 2019, she released her latest single "Back & Forth," featuring and produced by Linnie King Twigg and mixed and mastered by DJ EVIL DEE. Prior to her solo music career, she was in "3G's," a girls group that was signed with Hollywood Records.
She is involved with American Cancer Society, Kids with a Cause, Green Means Go, Ronald McDonald House, Make a Wish, Hope for Firefighters, United Nations, Children's Hospital and National Wildlife Federation, as well as The Hollywood Knights celebrity charity basketball league. She is also a board member for the nonprofit dance company, California Dance Institute.
Born and raised in New York, she currently resides in Los Angeles.

“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and her iconic family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). By Penny's side is her loyal crew: Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez, Zoey Howzer, Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins and Michael Collins. Building off the standout success of the series' debut, season two of "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" continues to tell entertaining and laugh-out-loud stories, while highlighting culturally specific experiences of the Black community and addressing universal topics. Various storylines this season include self-worth, interracial dating and Juneteenth.
