HALF BROTHERS director Luke Greenfield (LET'S BE COPS) talks challenges making the road movie starring Mexican actor Luis Gerardo Mendez who also executive produces the new film now airing On Demand.
HALF BROTHERS is a biligual comedy set in the U.S. and Mexico. Mendez stars as Renato, a successfu Mexican business man who is summoned to the United States to see his dying father who left him as a child. There he meets his slacker American half brother, and they are forced on road trip by their father to discover why he abandoned his Mexican family for an American family.
Official Synopsis
Renato, a successful Mexican aviation executive, is shocked to discover he has an American half-brother he never knew about, the free-spirited Asher. The two very different half-brothers are forced on a road journey together masterminded by their ailing father, tracing the path their father took as an immigrant from Mexico to the US.
