Twenty-five-time Grammy award winning artist Juanes lent his voice to the animated film, FERDINAND. We talk to the Colombian pop star about his experience voicing an animated character for the first time and the title song he sings for the Blue Sky film. Watch the Spanish interview.
The Colombian pop star plays the role of Juan, a human in FERDINAND and father to the little girl who takes in Ferdinand when he's a bull calf. The singer pulled double duty also singing the title song, "Lay Your Head On Me" as a bilingual tune. CineMovie sat down with him in Los Angeles prior to the FERDINAND movie premiere on the FOX Studio lot.
Juanes is scheduled to start his North American tour this spring alongside Mon Laferte to promote his latest album Mis Planes Son Amarte. The award-winning singer is up for a Best Latin pop album at the 2018 Grammy's for his latest release.

More about FERDINAND
Ferdinand is a young bull who escapes from a training camp in rural Spain after his father never returns from a showdown with a matador. Adopted by a girl who lives on a farm, Ferdinand's peaceful existence comes crashing down when the authorities return him to his former captors. With help from a wisecracking goat and three hedgehogs, the giant but gentle bovine must find a way to break free before he squares off against El Primero, the famous bullfighter who never loses.
