If an R-rated movie stars Samuel L. Jackson, then you know there will be plenty of mother F-bombs from the SHAFT star. His co-stars Jesse T. Usher, Luna Lauren Velez, Alexandra Shipp and the OG Shaft Richard Roundtree agree there are way too many f-bombs to count, and one of them has a great idea for a drinking game.
Three generations of SHAFT come together to solve a murder. CineMovie's Valentina Patruno sat down with the original Shaft played by Richard Roundtree and the millenial Shaft, Jesse T. Usher and their co-stars Luna Lauren Velez and Alexandra Shipp in Miami.
SHAFT is now playing in movie theaters.
Official Synopsis:
JJ, aka John Shaft Jr. (Usher), may be a cyber security expert with a degree from MIT, but to uncover the truth behind his best friend's untimely death, he needs an education only his dad can provide. Absent throughout JJ's youth, the legendary locked-and-loaded John Shaft (Jackson) agrees to help his progeny navigate Harlem's heroin-infested underbelly. And while JJ's own FBI analyst's badge may clash with his dad's trademark leather coat, there's no denying family. Besides, Shaft's got an agenda of his own, and a score to settle that's professional and personal.
