John Noble, Melina Matthews and director Lorena Villarreal talk about their bilingual film, SILENCIO, now playing in movie theaters. They also touch upon the rarity of a woman helming and writing the film with a female lead.
In order to save her son's life, Ana (Matthews) embarks on a quest to find a powerful stone from the Zone of Silence, located in Mexico. Someone finds out the power the stone possesses and believes it is a power worth killing for.
SILENCIO was shot in Mexico as an independent film. Director and writer Lorena Villarreal spoke to CineMovie about making the indie film and why the two actors made the trek to Mexico to be part of the bilingual film.
