New 'El Halcón' Trailer: A Tribute to Mexican Luchadores

The Mexican action-comedy film EL HALCÓN is coming to select U.S. theaters on September 13. The film stars novela actor Guillermo Quintanilla as luchador El Halcón. Watch the new trailer and poster, and look out for CineMovie's interview with director Eduardo Valenzuela and actor Ianis Guerrero.
SYNOPSIS:
In his prime, El Halcón was a champion of justice until a tragic event caused wrestlers to vanish from the public eye. Now, thirty years later, Ramón, the retired wrestler, runs a taquería with his son Pancho in Tijuana, where they face a gang of criminals terrorizing the city. When Pancho decides to fight back and don the mask, he is kidnapped by his father's old adversary, El Capitán. Ramón must return to the ring, with the help of Detective Reyes, to save his son. El Halcón will rise again, driven by a thirst for vengeance.
SINOPSIS:
En sus días de gloria, el Halcón luchaba por la justicia hasta que un terrible suceso provoca la desaparición de todos los luchadores del ojo público. Treinta años después, Ramón - el luchador ya retirado, es dueño de una taquería junto con su hijo Pancho donde tienen que lidiar con la pandilla de maleantes que aterroriza a Tijuana. Cuando Pancho quiere poner un alto al crimen y ponerse la máscara, es secuestrado por un viejo némesis de su padre: El capitán. Ramón tendrá que volver a usar la máscara para rescatar a su hijo con ayuda de la detective Reyes. El Halcón alzará el vuelo otra vez con sed de venganza.
